Our "Names Lists" can be accessed from any applicable product in the shopping cart.  Please use these links to determine if a particular name is available for a particular product.

It's a common name but I don't see it listed.

- If you don't find the child's name you're looking for, try another way of spelling it!  For example, Bryan and Brian have the same pronunciation but only one may be displayed in our Names List.  Not all name pronunciations are available in all products.  Please use the Names List for each product to determine which products have your child's name available prior to placing your order.  

I've found the correct name but it is not spelled the same as my child's name.

- What is most important is that we have the correct pronunciation of your child's name.  That way the songs will sound right.  We will then put the correct spelling of your child's name on the Personalized Music CD, just the way you want.  If you are still unsure as to whether or not the name has the correct sound, please contact us and we will send you a sample of one of the songs.  Please be sure to specify the product as well as your child's name.  

My child's name is available in some of the products but it isn't available in the one I wanted to get.

- Not all name pronunciations are available in all of the products.  The artists that recorded the music you are looking for have not recorded that particular name pronunciation.  At this time, it is not possible to produce custom names. However, we do subscribe to a Name On Demand program from the manufacturer and new names are released to us on a regular basis. Please contact us with your Custom Name request so that we can pass this on for future production.  

My Child has a double name.

- In most of our products we only have single names available.  However, on a few of our products some of the more common double names (like Mary-Jane) and two-letter names (like JJ) variations are available.  If these double name variations are available they will be listed in the Available Names List for the product.  If your child's double name is not listed, we will only be able to put the first name into the music.  We can still put both names on the front of the CD if you would like.

Can I get a CD with half the songs for one child and the other half for another child?

- No.  Some parents, after they've received the CDs for each child have copied the songs to a computer, mixed up the tracks and then burned themselves a CD with all the songs.  We do not authorize any duplication of the music for the purposes of sharing with others, re-distribution, uploading to music sites or any other use other than personal use.  

I have twins.  Can you put both of their names in one collection of music? 

- All of the songs were written to reflect one child as the focus of the songs.  As much as we would love to do music just for twins, the re-composition of the music and the difficulty of recording so many different name variations makes this a nearly impossible task.  Feedback from parents in this situation has indicated that they were glad they had purchased a CD for each child.  It allowed them to have their own personalized CD to listen to and enjoy to develop their own identity.  And if they are old enough to play their own CDs they can do so without having to share the same CD.

How many names do you have? 

- Our list of available names currently contains over 13,000 different names.  Sometimes we don't have some newer names that are becoming popular or some names that were very popular when we were kids.  They would be the ones that are the most popular now.  Unfortunately, the resources to record all possible names for all products are not available.  If your child has one of those special names that are hard to find, you can ask us about our Name On Demand program.  Please contact us for more information.

How many songs are on each CD, and how many times is the name mentioned?

- Each Personalized Music CD has information about the individual CD.  On average, your child's name is sung 35-40 times per CD.  Please scroll down to read the details about each item.

Are lyrics available for all of the songs?

- At present lyrics are only available for some of the music CDs.  We hope to have all of the lyrics available in the near future.

I received my CD and it doesn't seem to play correctly.  What should I do?

- First, a few quick questions:
• Can you see any scratches on the back of the CD?
• Does is seem to skip in exactly the same spot each time you try and play it?
• Does it seem to jump around, maybe even from song to song?
• Have you tried the CD in any other players?

The reason for these questions is that some of our customers' CD players are not very compatible with the newer generation of computer generated audio CDs. It's rare but it does happen occasionally.  Often, when the CD is played in another player it sounds fine but in that particular player it doesn't.  Since we test every CD before it is shipped, 99% of the time when this type of problem occurs it seems to play fine in another player.  If you continue to have a problem please contact us and we will try to assist you.
